With 200 participants from different countries gathered in Ponta Grossa, Brazil from November 10-13 to attend the most prestigious brewing technology forum in Latin America.
The packaging testing centre at the Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing in Berlin (VLB) has been under new management since July this year. Florian Heukäufer has taken over as laboratory manager, succeeding Susan Dobrick, who left the VLB at her own request.

On 27 June 2025, the time had come once again: 24 graduates received their certificates during a festive ceremony. Dr Josef Fontaine, in his last role as VLB Managing Director, praised the achievements of the participants and thanked everyone involved for their outstanding commitment.
