About the Event

The 15th Ibero-American Symposium will take place from November 10 to 12, 2025 in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil. The location is the Bourbon Ponta Grossa Convention Hotel.

Since 2008, VLB organizes this technical conference, with focus on the Ibero-American beer sector.

A sensory workshop and a packaging workshop will be offered on November 13. Bilingual conference: English and Portuguese.

Monday, November 10

Technical visit alternatively to AB InBev or Heineken (to be confirmed) and common close out of the day in the recently built new Malting plant of Agrária, Ponta Grossa.

Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12

  • Brewhouse, fermentation & filtration: Current issues
  • Brewing process: Innovations and improvements in the brewing process

Payments in euros will be handled securely through our payment service provider nets/Easy Paylink. You can pay using Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, PayPal, or Google Pay.

After registering, you will first receive an automatic confirmation. The invoice and the payment link will be sent later in separate emails.

*Payment in Brazilian Reais is available only for participants based in Brazil. You will receive an invoice in Reais issued by AHK-Rio de Janeiro.
The amount in Reais will be calculated based on the exchange rate on the day of registration. All other participants will receive an invoice in euros, issued directly by VLB-Berlin.
Upon receipt of registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation. For cancellations received within 6 weeks prior to the start of the event, a fee of 150 € plus tax will be charged. For cancellations received between 6 and 3 weeks before the start of the event, a refund of 30 % of the registration fee plus taxes will be made. For cancellations after this date, as well as in case of no-show, no refund will be possible. Name changes are possible at any time.
