For the 5th time the Thailand Beer Industry Guild (TBIG) and the VLB Berlin are jointly organising the Brewing Conference Bangkok. This premium event takes place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 9 to 11 June 2019.
The Brewing Conference Bangkok is addressed at managers, brewers and leading technical staff from production, filling and quality assurance of breweries and soft drink producers in South East Asia. Conference language is English.
The general headline of this year is “D-ERA: Disrupt / Digital / Diversify / Development – Chances and Challenges for the Asia Pacific Brewing Industry”. The conference will focus on trends, new products and the challenges for production, filling and packaging caused by steadily growing product portfolios, the rapid development of digitalization and changing consumer expectations. A special highlight this year will be the technical visit to the new enlarged Khmer Brewery in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the first conference day.
The presentations will be held by representatives from the region’s major breweries and specialist equipment suppliers along with leading specialists from the VLB Berlin, a renowned brewing research institute from Germany. This panel of experts will provide ideas, solutions and case studies on how a brewery today can face the challenges of the increasing product diversity in beer and beverages. The focus will be on the whole supply chain of beer production including process optimization, sustainability, brewing technology, product development and quality aspects. In addition, the conference programme includes an attractive social programme at Monday and Tuesday evening.
The previous Brewing Conference Bangkok, which took place in Bangkok in 2017, was a great success attracting more than 300 delegates from the regions’ brewing industry.
