From 14 to 17 October, our VLB colleague Philipp Zeuschner held a seminar in Hanoi on current topics for the Vietnamese brewing industry.
More than 50 participants from breweries across the country took part in the four days of topics ranging from sustainability and hop flavours to the production of non-alcoholic beer.
The seminar was organised in close cooperation with the East Asia University of Technology (EAUT) and will be held annually from now on with changing topics to bring the Vietnamese brewing industry up to date with the latest knowledge.
We would like to thank the EAUT team and Polyco for the great hospitality and organisation of this outstanding event as well as the numerous seminar participants! We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Brew at "The Pilot"
After the seminar Philipp Zeuschner brought two recipes to brew together with the team of The Pilot, a pub brewery of the East Asia University of Technology, celebrating the love for beer and brewing.
A classic German style Hefeweizen and a strongly hopped Session Pale Ale it should be, to combine traditional and modern values of the brewing world. Many thanks go out to the great team of The Pilot and their head brewer Dung Ngo.
