Desde 2008, VLB organiza esta jornada técnica, especialmente enfocada al sector cervecero iberoamericano. El 13° Simposio Iberoamericano de Tecnología Cervecera y de Envasado de VLB se realizará en esta ocasión en Bogotá, Colombia, con el apoyo de Grupo Bavaria (AB-Inbev) y Central Cervecera de Colombia (Grupo CCU y Grupo Postobon).

Este simposio se realizará en inglés y/o español con traducción simultánea.

Fachtagung für die Brau- und Getränkeindustrie

Die 107. Oktobertagung der VLB Berlin findet am 9. und 10. Oktober 2023 an der VLB Berlin statt. Zielgruppe sind technische Führungskräfte aus der Brau-, Malz-, Getränkeindustrie und deren Partner aus der Zulieferindustrie. 

Erweitertes Programm

Die Oktobertagung findet in diesem Jahr erstmals seit vielen Jahren wieder direkt an der VLB statt. Aber auch inhaltlich bietet die Tagung Neues: Neben den Brautechnischen Sessions (Schwerpunkte Energie, Prozesstechnologie und Fermentation), dem 52. Braugersten-Seminar und dem 5. VLB-Forschungskolloquium wurde das Programm um das neue VLB-Wassersymposium und das Supply-Chain-Management-Forum erweitert. Weitere Programmpunkte sind die Sitzungen des Technisch-Wissenschaftlichen Ausschusses (TWA) und des Betriebswirtschaftlichen Ausschusses (BWA) sowie die Mitgliederversammlung der VLB Berlin e.V. 

Einige Vorträge werden auf Englisch gehalten.

Wie gewohnt wird die kompakte Tagung von einer Fachausstellung begleitet und die Abendveranstaltungen bieten zusätzlich Gelegenheit für intensives Networking.

Zahlreiche Gründe also, im Oktober zu uns nach Berlin zu kommen!

 

Course outline

“Micro Malting in Practice” is an 8-day hands-on course providing up-to-date knowledge in the field of malting. It covers the basics of malting technology in theory and practice. The lectures will cover topics such as malting barley and other relevant cereals (botanics, quality, varieties, enzymes a.o.), malting technology (steeping, germination, kilning, special aspects of small-scale malting, equipment) and practical laboratory work (barley and malt analysis, interpretation and assessment of different quality parameters).
In addition, the participants will conduct and accompany a complete malting batch in our pilot malting.
The language is English. You can expect an intensive training with maximum benefit.

Attendance fee & accommodation

The fee for this 8-day course is € 2150 plus German VAT, including all course materials. The fee may be paid by bank transfer, credit card or check.
Your accommodation in Berlin has to be booked separately. Depending on your requirements we can arrange hotel accommodation in different categories.

 

About the Event

The 3rd VLB International Craft Brewing Conference (ICBO) is an online conference addressed at all stakeholders of the global craft brewing industry. It takes place from 24 to 25 May 2023 in the exceptional environment of our VLB Virtual Campus online venue. It provides the multiple opportunities to interact with other participants, to visit the virtual exhibition and to join the presentations & live discussions.

 

Workshop "Craft Brewing in Practice"

A ten-day full-time training course providing up-to-date knowledge in the field of pub and micro brewing. “Craft Brewing in Practice” covers the basics of beer brewing on a small-scale. The course addresses persons who have a professional interest in craft brewing. We strongly recommend some basic experience in brewing, e.g. as home brewer. The course language is English.

Course fee:
2400 € plus VAT. A non-refundable deposit of 500 € is due at the time of acceptance to the programme.

 

Brauen für Nicht-Brauer (Präsenzkurs)

Das nächste Kompaktseminar "Brauen für Nicht-Brauer" findet am 6./7. Dezember 2023 als Präsenzveranstaltung bei uns in Berlin statt.

Die Kursgebühr beträgt 1050 € (VLB-Mitglieder erhalten 10 % Rabatt) zzgl. MwSt. inkl. Mittagessen und Pausengetränken an beiden Tagen.

African Brewing Seminar Online

The first VLB African Brewing Seminar online (ABS)  is aimed at operations and quality employees of African breweries.
Five days of interesting topics, covering the entire brewing process. Classes will be conducted online and live (not pre-recorded) by VLB teachers and renowned invited specialists.The seminar will be held in English. The price is 250,00 € per participant.
